 Welcome to the Highlands & Islands Scouts website, which will give you a flavour of some of the activities that take place across our Region. We support Scout Groups across Inverness, Nairn, Badenoch & Strapthspey, Ross & Cromarty, Skye & Lochalsh, Lochaber, Sutherland, Caithness, Orkney and the Western Isles.
Before you start take a look around the front page and familiarise yourself with what is available. Customize the front page to suit yourself and your computer by adjusting the text size using the buttons on the top right hand corner. Then sit back and do what they call surfing. There is lots of information here, but if you can't find what you're looking for drop the webteam an email via the Contact Us page. |

Sign up for Motiv8 on Saturday 20th April. Your chance to join with Volunteers across Highlands & Islands to shape the development of your Region. Accomodation is available on both the Friday and Saturday, and Highlands & Islands will meet any reasonable costs.

Wester Ross Christmas Camp |

There was tremendous excitement at 10am on the Saturday when the cubs and scouts met up at Sands Campsite for what has now become our annual Christmas Camp. After the children had settled into their heated wooden wigwams we set up and decorated our beautiful Christmas tree then had a special flag break ceremony where we invested our newest scout, Maisie Hutchinson. Congratulations Maisie! Maisie and her friend Leonie were so excited by this that they celebrated into the early hours of the morning and were rewarded with the dirty pots the following day.

Lochalsh Has a New Scout Group! |

Under the guidance of Jenny Steven (Regional Commissioner), Alicia Chapple (Development Officer) and Ken Wilson (District Commissioner), as well as terrific support from Scottish Scout Headquarters, the 35th Ross and Sutherland Scout Group was recently re-established in Lochalsh.
